Quickly Upload and Post Products to MerchFoxShop via Products Template
Managing and listing products across multiple e-commerce platforms can be time-consuming.
MerchFoxShop offers a Products Template feature combined with a dedicated browser add-on that allows you to quickly upload and post products from popular marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, and Etsy. This guide will walk you through the three simple steps to streamline your product management process and ensure your listings are consistent and up-to-date across all platforms.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure you have the following:
- MerchFoxShop Account: An active account with appropriate permissions to install and manage add-ons.
- API Credentials: Obtain your API Key and API Secret from your MerchFoxShop account via Apps / Private Api menu
- Marketplace: For use on Ebay, Amazon and Etsy only
- Compatible Browser: Google Chrome, Coccoc
Step 1: Download and Install the MerchFoxShop Add-on on Your Browser

- On the browser, select Manage Extensions
- Turn on Developer mode
- Select Load unpacked
- Select the folder containing the Add on folder
After successful installation, the add on Merchfox Addon products will be displayed.
Step 2: Enter API Key and API Secret into the Add-on
A. Retrieve Your API Credentials
- Go to MerchFoxShop Login and sign in with your credentials.
- From the dashboard, go to Apps→ Private Api.
- Copy Your API Key and API Secret
B. Configure the Add-on with API Credentials
- Go to Ebay / Amazon / Etsy
- The Add on will open automatically, then enter your Your API Key and API Secret.
- API Key: Paste your API Key into the designated field.
- API Secret: Paste your API Secret into the corresponding field.
Save Configuration: Click "Continue”.
Select Products Template, number of product images to get and waiting time for each product.
Step 3: Sync Products to MerchFoxShop
- Search for keywords or visit product categories on Ebay / Etsy / Amazon
- The add-on will automatically collect product data such as: Title, Image
- Once the data collection is complete, you can update each product's details, title, images, or delete them.
Once you're sure you want to sync all your collected products to MerchFoxShop, click Sync Products to get started.
